Satiri Sdn Bhd was established in 2008 as a spin off company of Universiti Putra Malaysia to commercialized the newly launched Satiri Superdwarf turf. The Satiri Superdwarf turf was a product from a long term breeding program headed by Dr Mohd Said Saad with his fellow co-researcher Dr Abdul Shukor Juraimi from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The breeding program was started in 1997 and the turf was test planted on greens of the Universiti's golf course in 2004. Due to excellent results, the Satiri Superdwarf was launched and commercialized in 2008. The Satiri Sdn Bhd was given the right to commercialized the turf. The company's continuous investment on R&D has resulted in our second innovation on Satiri Instant Turf Carpet or SITC. With this technology, sport field construction is made simpler, shortened and the turf establishment is guaranteed. Using this very our own SITC technology a quality sport field is ensured. Realizing the importance of agriculture in Malaysian economy, Satiri Sdn Bhd is now providing agronomic services and supply agro products include fertiliser, herbicides and fungicides for oil palm, rubber and other crops. |
